Language and linguistics

Language help us to express our thoughts and ideas ,it answered the questions like ,what is the nature of language , and finally why should we study linguistics? but first let's see what is the defenition of language.


Language is the institution whereby humans commincate and interact whith each other by means of habitually used oral -arbitrary symbols


Why ...?


I speak the language X.Isn't that good enough?W hy should I bother about studying the structure of something I already know?


Language awareness ,it daels also with speech therapy ,and computers & linguistics,language aquisition=imitation?,also language & literature,finally language teaching; would you send your relatives to a medical who has little or no idea about the structure of the human body?


WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE TAUGHT BY A LANGUAGE TEACHER WHO HAS LITTLE OR NO IDEA ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF THE RESPECTIVE LANGUAGE?
